LIMITED EDITION, one of 250 copies on Whatman paper. [ With: ] [KELMSCOTT PRESS.] Sire Degrevaunt . Edited by F.S. Ellis. Hammersmith, 1896 [issued 1897]. 8 o. Printed in Chaucer type in red and black; woodcut frontispiece after a design by Sir Edward Burne-Jones facing page with full woodcut page-border, 10-line and smaller initial capitals. Early 20th-century embroidered silk, front cover with floral spray formed by 11 pinks in color, a leafy spray and gold stems, back cover with embroidered flowers in each corner, top edge gilt, others uncut (split along front joint). LIMITED EDITION, one of 350 copies of an edition of 358. Cockerell 47; Peterson A47. This was the only Kelmscott Press book to have a tissue guard inserted after the frontispiece. [ Bound with: ] Syr Ysambrace . Edited by F.S. Ellis after the edition printed by J.O.Halliwell. Hammersmith, 1897. 8 o. Printed in black and red, wood-engraved illustration after Burne-Jones.
