Colored engraved additional title, 2 engraved folding maps, 1 engraved colored folding plate, 25 engraved colored plates and 42 EXTRA-ILLUSTRATIONS, (inset to size). 4to, contemporary red morocco, elaborately tooled in gilt and blind with a wide border round the sides enclosing a diamond shaped panel interlaced with rectangular panel, g.e., rebacked, corners repaired; few plates torn and repaired, maps lined on verso, light browning and staining.
