II COPIED BY MUHAMMAD HASAN AGH ULI IBN MUHAMMAD REZA, DATED 22 RAJAB AH 1240/12 MARCH 1825 A work on general history from creation until the time of the author, Persian manuscript on paper, 246ff. plus 6 fly-leaves, each with 23ll. of black shikasteh with important words picked out in red, with gold margins between black and blue rules and thin gold and black outer margins, very occasional marginal notes, opening bifolio with the calligraphy in clouds reserved against gold ground, the margins with gold and polychrome scrolling and flowering vine and finely illuminated headpiece, colophon signed and dated 1240, very minor staining in margins, original black morocco binding with gold stamped medallions and border Text panel 8¾ x 5½in. (22.3 x 14cm.); folio 11½ x 7 7/8in. (29.2 x 20cm.)
