This machine gun was imported by “Magnum Research Inc.” as indicated by the marking on the left side of the receiver. It has a 3-position right-hand side selector/safety lever marked, “S”, “A”, and “F” with clean-cut notches, and also a safety/selector switch on the left side of the receiver with “R”, “A”, and “S” with the “S” on the rearmost position. This specimen features a birdcage flash hider, bayonet lug, and a folding stock. There is black tape attached below the ejection port to protect the finish there, as this gun was kept in a safe by the consignor next to other guns. Electronic NFA Registry indicates “ISRAEL MILITARY INDUSTRIES” as the manufacturer, and approved incoming ATF Form 4 lists this and also “Magnum Research Inc” as the importer.
