The left side of the magazine well bears the encircled Rampant Colt logo above "COLT / M16A1 / CAL. 5.56MM." over the serial number, with Colt's manufacturer information present above the selector switch. 3-position selector switch is marked SAFE", "SEMI", and "AUTO". Top of barrel is stamped "C MP CHROME BORE" towards the muzzle. Features include a birdcage flash hider, A1 pattern polymer handguard with heat shield, standard M16 pattern front and rear sights, A1 pattern fixed polymer buttstock, as well as a checkered polymer pistol grip. Magazine is not present. Manufacturer block is listed as "Colt Industries, Firearms Division", with "M16A1" in the Model block. CONDITION: Excellent, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory applied finish, exhibiting a few minute superficial marks from handling and storage overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined lands and grooves throughout. Polymer furniture is en suite, exhibiting few and minor superficial handling marks overall.
