First American Edition. Narrative from Scottish naval officer famous for traveling on foot (nicknamed the "Pedestrian Traveler"). Cochrane notes that he rode as well as walked, but this journey was novel because of how much land he was able to traverse on foot. Lot Amendments Condition: Wear and tear to binding; hinges starting to crack; some foxing and darkening of pages, a few stains and folds but text is readable; good in a fair binding.
