Naval General Service 1793-1840, 3 clasps, 4 Nov 1805, Martinique, Guadaloupe (Wm. Farley, Master’s Mate) minor edge bruising, otherwise good very fine £2500-3000 Footnote William Farley is confirmed on the rolls as Midshipman of Hero for Strachan’s action on 4th November 1805, and as Mater’s Mate of the Fawn at Martinique and Guadaloupe. He qualified as a Master for 1st Rate ‘line-of-battle’ ships on 17 July 1813.
