[ With :] E.O. SHEBBEARE. Two ALS, 20 April and 17 September 1925, 1p. and 2pp., recto only of three 4to sheets, to Odell. [ And :] Dr. Tom LONGSTAFF. An ALS, undated but ?1924/5, 2pp. on a single 8vo sheet, to Odell apologising for a missed appointment and speculating about Odell's climb to 27,000ft., "am I right in thinking that you could have walked to the top alone? That's what I do think from the little evidence I've gleaned." Tom Longstaff climbed Trisul (23,360ft.) in Northern India in 1907, and took part in Bruce's 1922 expedition to Everest.
