Also incl. are items such as the world's first newspaper, late fee, Official, Registration, Postage Due, rural Postage Due, Telegraph, Postal Card, Franchise stamp, Occupation stamp, Post Office seal, War Tax, pneumatic mail lettersheet, Life Insurance, Military stamps, etc. There are many better items throughout (some with certificates) incl. right half of a Double Geneva (with Friedl certificate), Germany Saxony no. 1, India Scinde local post (Scott A1), Sweden no. 1, Finland no. 1, Romania Moldavia no. 1 (Friedl certificate), Malta no. 2 (Royal certificate), Malaya Sungei Ujong no. 1, Labuan no. 1, Bangkok no. 1, French Sudan no. 1, Marshall Isl. no. 1, Caroline Isl. no. 1a, Mariana Isl. no. 11a, etc., condition is, of course, extremely mixed with some repaired stamps and some reprints, but the collection does contain some very scarce stamps and many medium value stamps in relatively nice condition, an intriguing collection with enormous catalog value, worthy of very careful inspection, it will yield many very useful and elusive items or is equally worthy of further scholarship and expansion, good-very fine lot est.
