alibi in Germanis no[s] temere aediti hactenus, cum argumentis Hermani Buschii, & scoliis in margine adiectis, quae uice uberis commentarii esse possunt. Basel, Thomas Volfius (Wolff), 4 November 1522, (4),234 lvs.,(3 blank),(1) colophon p., w. woodcut title-border by Urs Graf woodcut initials and colophon, early 17th cent. gilt calf, both covers w. central oval ornament and single fillet border, ribbed spine w. gilt lettered author's named "Sil. It." and gilt fleurons, a.e.g., sm. 8vo.
Pages 229-232 misbound at the beginning. Sl. foxed/ stained at the beginning; title-p. w. sm. tearfirst free endpaper w. larger tears; both free endpapers waterst. hinges and joints split, but good holding on cords. A good copy, with old owner's entry "P. Cabirol" on title-p. (crossed-out in old pen) and on prel. lvs. 2 and 3. Rare, early edition by Hermann van dem Busche (1468-1534).
