The mission was crewed by Commander John Young Lunar Module Pilot Charles Duke and Command Module Pilot Ken Mattingly. The watch is fitted with a special dial displaying the Apollo XVI mission badge in the subsidiary dial at 9 o’clock. Preserved in original factory condition, the timepiece is furthermore completed by its original “Missions” presentation box made of the same fabric used for space suits, a hang tag and a blank International Warranty. With its unique configuration and linkage to the United States Apollo space program, the present watch is a superb trophy timepiece.
