This work is largely based on that of Newton. It greatly stimulated the construction of optical apparatus and is the most helpful historical treatise on light of its time" (Babson). - Breitrandig und nahezu fleckenfrei, der dekorative Einband etwas bestoßen, Gelenke angeplatzt, Kapitale ausgebessert.
