AUTOGRAPH MANUSCRIPT OF ANGEL--NEBULAE, FOR THREE TENORS AND BASS, SIGNED ON THE TITLE PAGE ("NIGEL OSBORNE") comprising five sections entitled "Medea 2", "Little Star--Angel", Radioastronomy", "Angel--Nebulae" and "Gnostic Sky", written in heavy dark pencil on up to ten staves per page, with introductory notes to the performers, including the notation of quarter tones and unorthodox vocal tuning (based on various "virtual harmonic series"), explanations about pulsar frequencies and supernovae clusters, with corrections and alterations, 39 pages in all, including title and notes, 4to, 12-stave paper, [2001] Illustrated (left) with the kind permission of the composer. Skempton, Howard (b.1947) Two autograph manuscripts of "Campanella for piano", and "Three Pieces for Oboe" signed three times ("Howard Skempton") ; "Campanella" notated for piano in black ink on two systems, comprising 32 chords, with the dedication "to Ciancarlo Cardini", with a few deletions made with correction-fluid; the "Three Pieces for Oboe", written in pencil on up to ten staves per page, with a dedication to Melinda Maxwell, 5 pages in all, oblong 8vo and 4to (10-stave paper), 1 November 1981-1993 Illustrated (right) with the kind permission of the composer.
