A superb and very rare 18K gold hunter case minute repeating perpetual calendar keyless lever watch with phases of the moon Signed Patek Philippe, Genève, movement no. 47'634, case no. 312'006, ref. 839, manufactured in 1874 and sold in 1875, recased upon special request in 1962 Cal. 19''', with gilt-finished fully jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf's tooth winding, repeating with two polished steel hammers onto two steel gongs, the silvered matt dial with Roman numerals, unusual uneven outer Railway five minute divisions, blued steel spade hands, aperture for phases of the moon combined with lunar calendar, three subsidiary dials indicating day, month and date combined with constant seconds, in massive circular case, repeating slide in the band, case and dial signed, movement signed underneath the dial 54 mm. diam.
