(6 5/8 x 4¾ in.) including mount, a little browing at edges of image. A three-quarter-length portrait of Pavlova, posing in a white dress and holding a bouquet, signed diagonally across the lower half of the image. "Pavlova first achieved renown dancing for the Ballet Russe with Nijinsky. Her perfect technique and ethereal charm made her the most acclaimed ballerina of her time"--W.M.
