Lot of 3: Engraving, 17.5 x 22 in. (sight), matted and framed, 26.25 x 30 in. The United States Centennial International Exhibition. Washington, DC: Engraved & printed at the Bureau, Engraving & Printing; Geo. B.McCartee, Chief of Bureau; Geo. W. Casilear, Supt. of Engineering, ca 1872. Issued and uncancelled stock. Attractive and ornately engraved stock certificate featuring series of vignettes representing the history of the United States, from early settlers to the Civil War and the start of the Industrial Revolution. Lower vignettes include farmers, American Indians, and the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Overall very fine condition, but not examined outside frame. Albumen print, 8 x 10 in., on 9.25 x 12.5 in. mount (sight), matted and framed, 15.75 x 17.75 in. New Liberty Bell. Meneely & Kimberly, Founders, Troy, NY. Photographed by Leo Daft, with Washington, 1876 copyright printed in lower margin of mount. Toning to print, which has also lightened over time. Few minor spots. Not examined outside frame. Albumen print, 8.5 x 10.25 in., on 13.5 x 16.5 in. mount (sight), framed, 16.5 x 19.75 in. Washington First Centennial Philadelphian International Exhibition 1876.
