First American edition, first issue, without the period after "integrity" in line 20, page 47 in volume II and without the printer's imprint on the copyright page in volume I (no priority). BAL gives priority to the English edition, although Bibliographical Notes to the Grolier list cites the American edition, listing an earlier publication date for America.
