Typed manuscript signed, Ohio, 16 June 1931, 5 pages, 4to, last page tipped to larger sheet , Hoover's speech "on the occasion of the dedication of The Harding Memorial," gives an overview of Harding's life, his death in office and (alluding to the Teapot Dome affair) his "realization that he had been betrayed by a few of the men whom he had trusted...That was the tragedy of the life of Warren Harding." -- HOOVER. Typed letter signed, to George H. Milne, 14 November 1933, 1 page, 4to , sending the preceding speech, with his signature -- HARDING, WARREN G. Autograph letter signed to Will Hays, 1 July 1920, 1 page, 4to, with autograph envelope , a boldly penned letter to Hays (future Postmaster General in Harding's cabinet), four months before the Presidential election: "You ought to see the bearer...I think he can help immensely." The note was returned to Harding with a note from Hays at bottom: "I have your note re Mr Danziger and am delighted to see him." Together three items . (3)
