Three cabinet cards with manuscript labels on verso: Taken at World's Fair, Chicago, Oct. 30th 1893. by O.P. Miller Springfield, O. 1893 Fair admission ticket for 30th Oct. 1893. 2.25 x 3.5 in. Oct. 9, 1893 child's ticket (No. 9589) with coupon attached. Four arched-top stereoviews by B.W. Kilburn, Littleton, NH. 8695. Interior of Fine Arts Building; 8401. Parade of West Point Cadets at U.S. Government Building; 8498. South Front of Liberal Arts Building; 8807. City by the Sea. Rand, McNally & Co.'s New Indexed Miniature Guide Map of the World's Columbian Exposition at Chicago, 1893. 10.5 x 14.5 in. Portfolio of Photographs of the World's Fair (cover title). No tp. Obl. 4to, half-leather over brown cloth, gilt title on front and spine. This volume contains more unusual images of the Fair. Most of the popular souvenirs had the major buildings and landmarks. This one has people (Eskimo, Bedouin, Hindu, Turks, people from Ceylon and Senegal, Samoa, Java, Nazareth, Dahomey, camel drivers, and many more), theaters, many interior shots, the "Pinta" and "Nina," plus the usual major buildings. Condition: West Point Cadet stereoview with all four corners damaged (likely from the holder of a viewer). All four with some handling wear. Cabinet card photos a bit light. "Portfolio" with some shelfwear; wear to spine with some missing leather.
