R and F Mo Safe House, 2022 Watercolour and Ink on Paper Signed on Verso 10 x 15cm (3¾ x 5¾ in.) About R&F Mo (born Cumberland 1956) explores narratives that connect the seen the sensed and the dreamed, woandering through ideas and places, focusing on ambiguity and place where relations between human and creature kind are performed. Mo (is a member of performance drawing collective: Foá, Grisewood, Hosea, McCall), co-authored Performance Drawing (Bloomsbury 2020). Mo lives and works in South London and teaches drawing at UAL (CSM and LCC). @r.andf.mo Education Graduated City and Guilds 1980, RCA 1984.CSM 2004, completed practice based PhD UAL Camb 2011, Turps Correspondence Course 2020, Turps OffSite Course (20-21). Gallery Representation Oliver Projects. @oliverprojectslondon Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork The four postcards are small studies that return to subjects often visited in R&F Mo's works- old folk and fairy tales - such as Robinson Crusoe, cowboys (some lonely other's not), bears that dance with people (not for people), and the comfort of a small safe house - perhaps even a rescue hut out in the wilds that can provide food and shelter for lost woanderers ( spelt with both an 'a' and and'o' to indicate that the wondering of the mind is tied to the wandering of the body). You must not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any works. In doing so, you endanger our relationships with artists, and directly jeopardizes the charitable work we do. Anyone found doing will subject to legal action.
