Description: Rare Third Reich Reichsluftschutzbund (R.L.B) Officers Peaked Cap, superb untouched example of the rare officers cap for members of the German air raid precautions unit known as the Reichsluftschutzbund (R.L.B). Cap is similar in design to a Luftwaffe officers, being blue / grey top with bullion piping to the crown and bordering a plain black felt central band. Officers pattern chin cords and pebbled side buttons. Bullion officers RLB pattern cockade and bullion officers RLB cap eagle with the swastika being embroidered in gold bullion wire. Interior of the cap has yellow satin cloth lining and leather sweatband. The cap show some service wear but overall is a very good example of a scarce officers peaked cap.
