REDON, Odilon after Charles Baudelaire Les Fleurs du Mal - Interprétations par Odilon Redon (M. 198-206) The complete set of eight Evely-process engravings and the title, 1890, on China paper, all before text and plate numbers, with an additional impression of the frontispiece design, probably one of five sets of this kind (according to Mellerio, there was only one set before text; an edition of fifty sets with text on wove paper was proposed, with possibly only 43 being printed - see the following lot), published by Deman, Brussels, the full sheets, some pale time staining, otherwise in very good condition, within the original grey paper folder (worn and with small losses, repaired), with frontispiece, the name of the author, the artist and the title on front (portfolio) Overall: 18¼ x 12¾ in. (462 x 323 mm.) Plates: 11 x 8¼ in. (278 x 208 mm.)(and smaller) Sheets: 17¾ x 12½ in. (450 x 318 mm.)(and similar)
