Rebacked, retaining original spine and covers, foxing to text leaves, occasional fingermarks. FIRST "COMPLETE" EDITION. Reinhard's fine aquatints depict a colorful variety of costumes from each of the Swiss Cantons. Although two earlier editions are known, Colas calls this the definitive and complete edition - The "Grand Reinhard." It is sometimes mistakenly attributed to German landscape painter Johann Christian Reinhart Colas 2528; Lipperheide Ga 22.
