James Clinton], West Point, 20 June 1781. 1 page, 4to, chipped along left edge . "I send you under guard John Hennessey of your line who has been sentenced to Death by a Court Martial. The inclosed [not included] Extract from his Excellency Genl. Washington's Letter to me I transmit for your Government." In the autograph PS, Howe adds: "I should be glad if you can spare the life of Hennesey." -- BRUYN, Jacob. Autograph letter signed ("J. Bruyn") to Capt. James Clinton, Bruynswick, 28 March 1760. 1 page, 4to, portion of address panel missing, repairs on verso . Offers Clinton a "Captain's warrant [i.e., commission]...on the ensuing campaign." -- OSGOOD, Samuel (1747-1813), commanded militia at Lexington & Concord . Autograph letter signed, Andover, 11 July 1774. 1 page, 8vo . Plans to meet to discuss a legal dispute. -- HOPKINS, Roswell. Autograph document signed, Amenia, 25 March 1780. 1 page, 8vo .
