And on Friday 13th, and Saturday 14th of March,1795 , [London: Christie's, 1795]. 4° (280 x 220mm). (Lightly spotted, corner of title page torn affecting a few letters). Contemporary calf-backed marbled boards, uncut. (A little worn). A marked catalogue with buyers' names and prices added in manuscript. Lots listed in the catalogue include works by Michelangelo, Rembrandt, Rubens and Van Dyck. Laid in is a reprint extracted from a larger work, Catalogue of Portraits, fancy Pictures, Studies and Sketches by the Late Sir Joshua Reynolds ... which will be Sold by Auction by Mr.Greenwood ... on Thursday, 14th April and Two following days (1796).
