Early 20th-century calf-backed patterned-paper boards (some wear to spine). In this, one of his most famous works, Ridinger depicts Adam and Eve in Paradise. The first six plates show them in idyll before the Fall, and the last six plates show them in turmoil, building up to the Expulsion. It is a powerful series, RARELY FOUND ON THE MARKET.
