Early tan calf gilt with red and green lettering labels. 8 1/4 x 5 inches (21.5 x 13 cm); with hand-colored engraved frontispieces and titles to both volumes, 32 hand-colored plates as called for, and 2 additional hand-colored plates. Wear and repair to joints and hinges, bindings rubbed, bards detached or weak, foxing, bookplates. Tooley 200; Together with a group of eight framed hand-colored prints after Rowlandson and others and a small group of miscellaneous plain and colored plate books, these including volume one only of Smollet's Expedition of Harvey Clinker, 1793, contemporary calf; The Devil to Pay, 1831, later half morocco, wrappers bound in, title illustration and seven plates by R. Seymour; The Devil's Progress, 1830, second edition, full red morocco, wrappers bound in, 5 plates by R. Seymour; a volume bound in half morocco containing The Life of Daniel Dancer, 1829, and Crowquill's Absurdities, 1827, with eight mounted color plates only; and three others illustrated by Phiz.
