Half title, 72 engraved plates and plans by Peter Paul Rubens (lacking title, a few upper margins shaved, some lower foredge corners frayed with minor losses, occasional light spotting and thumb-marks). 18th-century calf (rubbed and scuffed with loss). Provenance : Francis Price, 1728 (ink inscription); bookplate with motto "Tuum-est". FIRST EDITION.
