The first commercial vintage was released in 1921 and by 2006 the house hasd released only 37 vintages....sold to laurent-Perrier in 1989. Salon is effectively part of the combined Salon-Delamotte House. Salon is made only from 100% Chardonnay Grape Variety from the commune of Le Mesnil sur Oger, in the Cotes de Blancs subregion of Champagne.
