Scrap albums.- Continental School (19th century) An album of 19 drawings and watercolours, mainly of continental landscapes, some English, by various hands, some with signatures including 'Barker', and several 'Day', watercolours and pencil, on various papers neatly tipped into album leaves, each leaf approx. 210 x 305 mm. (8 1/4 x 12 in), occasional spotting and browning, some surface dirt, bound in continental gilt tooled boards, oblong 4to, 19th century; together with two others, including a scrap album with 77 hand-coloured engravings of insects, including butterflies, moths, dragonflies, and caterpillars amongst others, engravings by Rofel, each platemark approx. 180 x 150 mm. (7 1/4 x 5 7/8 in), all neatly tipped onto blue paper album leaves, marbled boards, 4to, and an album of French chromolithographed cards, approx. 80, contemporary green cloth, small 4to, late 19th century, (3).
