Set of Eight Brown-Westhead, Moore & Co. Gilt and Transfer Decorated 'Cauldon Ware' Porcelain Dessert Plates Pattern no. B7317 Diameter 8 3/4 inches. Provenance: With Elise Abrams Antiques, Great Barrington, MA, October 1998 Hester Diamond Estate, New York. C
each appears to be in generally good undamaged condition; typical wear and rubbing to gilding, most notably to the rim edges; typical scratch marks to the centers, commensurate with age and usage; one plate has a small area where there is some rubbing (loss) to the pale yellow ground revealing a small white patch and adjacent area of wear (white porcelain body); puce printed crowned Royal Warrant marks; not blacklighted; age: circa 1890-1900
