Together 14 pages, 8vo, each on printed Cat in the Hat stationery, one with color image of gorilla with baby stapled at right. Seuss shows off his penchant for witty displays on these 14 sheets to his agent. Many contain pithy statements coming from the Cat in the Hat's mouth, such as "Moocho Goosto, Sig. Mattes!" or "Happy Catsmass to Jed!" or "Hier mit die Kontracten mit signaturen." Others are longer in nature: ""Unfortunately, Jed, our ABACUS is broken...so... you have the honor of fidiggering this one out. Whatever you and your oriental advisors decide to do is Banzai with me. Best, Ted." A very fine example shows an immense flower with teeth about to chomp down on the Cat with the legend: "VIVA LA PETUNIA!" (14)
