Sherwood, Leeds, No. 37389, circa 1824, unsigned, circa 1847 and Swiss, circa 1890 The first , an openface watch with gilt-finished verge movement, lever escapement, engraved cock and foot, chain fuse, metal dust cap, the gilt dial with Roman numerals, surrounded by applied three colour gold floral decoration, in engine-turned case with highly engraved and chased floral decorated bezel, rim, pendant and bow, the second , an openface watch, with gilt-finished three quarter plate keywound cylinder movement, the gilt dial with Roman numerals, centred and surrounded by engraved and applied three colour gold floral decoration, in finely engraved floral decorated case, the third , a hunter case watch with nickel-finished jewelled keyless lever movement, the engine-turned gilt dial with Roman numerals, centred and surrounded by applied gold floral decoration, the case with black and blue enamel and paste-set floral decorated sides, the first movement signed, the second and the third unsigned 45 mm., 44 mm. & 36 mm. diams.
