Probably by the same scribe who copied Neubauer nos. 58, 65, 75, 77, 88 and 103 (lots 141, 146, 134, 137, 73 and 140). With printed architectural border in the style of the plates used by the Amsterdam printer Joseph Athias, pasted onto the recto of the first preliminary leaf. Brown ink. Ashkenazic semi-cursive script. With tables and some calligrams. (Some minor dampstaining.) Modern blind and gold-tooled red morocco, two modern paper flyleaves at back and front. CONTENTS: Fols. [1]r: pasted title-page border; [1]v-[4]v: blank; 1r-178v: text, interspersed with some blanks between the various sections. Like some other copies of this work, the manuscript includes the mystical commentary on Pirkei Avot (fols. 157r-162r), prayers to be recited at the Western Wall according to the Lurianic custom, prayers by R. Moses ben Nachman (fols. 165r-167v), and R. Israel Saruk's commentary on Luria's hymns for Shabbat (fols. 171r-178v). PROVENANCE: Daniel Itzig (stamped).
