Three different carpets with the portrait of Herbert Samuel. 5. Carpet with a portrait of Max Nordau. 6. Carpet with a portrait of Lord Balfour [with a number of holes, including a hole in Balfour's portrait, in the area of the forehead. A similar hole appears in other versions of the carpet.
