An interesting compilation of documents, all in adherence to William Bates Nichols, banker, born in Vermont in 1859. Nichols was formerly engaged in mining in Canada, Nova Scotia, South America, and Mexico and owned lands in the Dakota Territory. He went to California in 1892 engaging himself in fruit growing until he went on to become the president of First National Bank of Dinuba, CA.
