STIEGLITZ, Christian Ludwig (1756-1836). Zeichnungen aus der schönen Baukunst . Leipzig: Georg Voss, 1805. 2° (442 x 290mm). 114 engraved plates on 104 sheets. (Occasional light spotting.) Contemporary half calf over marbled paper-covered boards, red edges (extremities rubbed, corners bumped). SECOND EDITION. The illustrations, documenting both executed designs and speculative projects, were selected by a Scottish architect working in Dresden, James Ogilvy, seventh Earl of Findlater and Seafield (1750-1811). Included are some of Findlater's own projects, including a stable block and an office court commissioned by Otto Karl Friedrich, Graf von Schönburg, at Penig in Saxony. Berlin Kat. 2051.
