FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING, BAL's Binding C (extra gilt binding), 6 engraved plates, title-page vignettes. BAL 19343; Grolier English 183; Grolier American 61; PMM 332. IN THE RARE RED BINDING (BAL recording only copies in black and blue cloth in this gift, extra gilt binding, and copies in black, purple and blue cloth in the ordinary binding). Provenance: "P.M.
