SYBIL M DOWIE (ENGLISH exh 1889 - 1922), A YOUNG GIRL pastel on paper, signed and dated 1907 45cm x 35cm Mounted, framed and under glass. Note: Sybil Dowie lived in various locations in and around London, including Avenue Studios in Chelsea, and died in Kensington in 1928. The Royal Academy have a record of her exhibiting in 1898. She traveled to New York at least twice where she exhibited at the prestigious Ainslie Galleries on Fifth Avenue. She also exhibited with the Pastel Society in London. Whilst every effort is made to provide accurate and honest condition reports, none of our staff is a professional conservator, restorer or engineer.
