Letterpress title and 12 double-page colored maps. Later wrappers with manuscript title label on front cover. Provenance : Frederick E. Suse, New York (calling card on front wrapper, signature on card of Léontine Marié Suse on flyleaf). The maps depict Maine, New England, New York, Niagara Falls, Pennsylvania/New Jersey, Virginia/Maryland/Delaware, Ohio/Indiana, Kentucky/Tennessee, North & South Carolina, Georgia/Alabama, Louisiana/Mississippi, and Illinois/Missouri. RARE: according to American Book Prices Current , the last copy to be sold at auction was the Streeter copy, sold 25 October 1966. Howes T-30; Sabin 94326; Streeter sale I:87.
