Taylor--Vintage 1955 Levels: two into neck, two very top and top shoulder; one wine stained label; photocopied labels; embossed "Taylor 55" Unknown until we pulled the cork. Light to medium tawny/red colour; very even. The nose has plenty of ripe red fruit, alcohol, fig and prune. Outrageous concentration; extremely gripping and full-bodied. Fabulous ripe fig and prune flavour; lots of over ripe currants; so viscose and creamy; great length and weight. An awesome bottle of Port. Now - 2020+ Dec 2002 DW 6 bottles per lot
