Housed in a custom morocco-backed clamshell box First Edition, First Printing. A superior fine copy of this classic icon of 20th-century children's literature. The first Dr. Seuss book specifically targeted for beginning readers. First printing, with jacket priced "200/200" on front flap; flat, unglazed covers; rear cover of book and jacket lists educators' reviews with no mention of the Beginner Books series. Younger & Hirsch 7. Lot Amendments Condition: Minor wear to extremities, a few small dents on rear panel; volume with only very minor wear at edges.
