The Complete British Gardener: containing full directions for everything necessary to be done in the fruit, flower, and kitchen garden, throughout the year, 1st edition, 1779, engraved frontispiece, early ownership signature of John Yeld to head of title, the months of the years supplied in ink manuscript to head of each leaf of main text, some minor marks and light staining, contemporary calf, some wear and upper joint cracked, spine labels renewed, together with Reid (John) , The Scots Gardiner for the Climate of Scotland, in 3 parts, and now carefully corrected, with alterations and additions by an eminent hand, Edinburgh, 1756, some browning and staining at front and rear, a few marginal tears and small holes with some loss of letters to dedication leaf verso, modern cloth gilt, plus Justice (James) , The Gardener's New Kalendar: directing the necessary work to be performed every month in the kitchen, fruit, and pleasure-garden, Dublin, 1777, engraved folding plates, contemporary calf gilt, rubbed and slight insect damage to lower joint, all 12mo, plus other 18th and 19th century gardening interest by Thomas Mawe, John Abercrombie William Salisbury, and others (12)
