The London 1908 Olympic Games Silver medal for Heavy-weight Boxing awarded to Sydney Charles H 'Sid' Evans (1881-1927), London 1908 participant's medallion and related items, the silver medal with athletes after the classical to obverse and St George and Dragon to verso, inscribed 'Second prize heavy weight boxing,(33mm diameter) also a participation medal for the London 1908 games after B Mackennal. obverse with chariot and winged figure of Victory to reverse, with later suspension loop (50mm diameter) and a London 1908 Olympic Games competitor's card for SC H Evans, together with a 9ct gold medallion with enamelled decoration and necklet 'Polytechnic Harriers SCH Evans Stadium 260508', and a visiting card for SCH Evans.
