The Modern Druid, containing instructions founded on Physical Reasons, confirmed by long practice, and evidenced by precedents, for the much better Culture of Young Oaks more particularly, first edition, engraved frontispiece and 2 plates (1 folding), errata slip at end, ink and pencil marginalia, some spotting or light foxing, modern half calf, [Henrey 1492], for the Author, 1747 § Nichols (Thomas) Observations on the Propagation and Management of Oak Trees in general; but more immediately applying to His Majesty’s New-Forest, in Hampshire, with a view of making that extensive tract of land more productive of timber, for the use of the Navy, title foxed, some water-staining at head, some spotting, crushed morocco by Bayntun, Southampton, T. Baker, [1791] § Sawyer (James) Growing Gold; or a Treatise on the Cultivation of British Oak, occasional spotting, half crushed morocco by Bayntun, 1838; and 4 others, Oaks, 8vo (7)
