Beschreibung:

Thomas Webb & Sons Acid-Etched and Wheel-Carved Blue and White Cameo Glass Foxgloves Vase Circa 1890-1900 Of bottle form, in colorless glass cased in transparent ice-blue colored glass cased in opaque white colored glass, decorated on the front side with foxgloves and large leaves, partial satin finish, acid stamped THOMAS WEBB & SONS GEM CAMEO. Height 9 1/8 inches. Provenance: Dan & Nancy Antiques at Atlantique Show, Atlantic City, NJ, October 20, 1996. C The Flower Family Collection
appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; the top rim edge is ground down flat and polished, presumably, as made at the factory; there are a few light scuffs and scratches to the satin finish areas of the vase, commensurate with age and handling, not of any consequence; the interior is nice and clean, i.e., not clouded or water stained; there is a small dark colored spot to the glass, located at one of the upper leaves on the main flower stem, not of any real significance; there is an embedded small white-colored particle inclusion (or glass), located at the bottom of the vase, apparently, in the making, and therefore not of any real consequence
