18TH CENTURY
THREE GERMAN ENGRAVED GLASS GOBLETS 18th century Each with conical bowl on varibaluster stem and spreading circular foot, the first engraved with Queen Maria-Theresia within a crowned cartouche, the rim inscrived VIVAT Maria theresia ; the second with a king kneeling in prayer beneath thye Holy Ghost, a trophy of War at his back, the far side engraved gott Schütze den Kônig/mit Seiner wunderhandt/dorch gottliche gnad/Sein Vatterland. ; the third on one side with the arms of Freiheir von Daube benmeath the script initials ED. F. V.T. , the other side within a Baroque cartouche with a winged putto dancing through a field and holding a posey in each hand, inscribed above Sie feÿnd mir allzeit angenehm. 8 3/8 in. (21.3 cm.), 8 7/8 in. (22.2 cm.) and 8¼ in. (21 cm.) high respectively (3)
