Chancery folio (290 x 205mm). 196 leaves (of 198, without first and last blanks). Printed in red and black. 2 large red and blue flourished initials, and smaller initials in red and blue, paragraph marks in red and capital strokes in yellow, woodcut printer’s device and colophon printed in red (some dampstaining and fingersoiling, paper flaw with loss of letters in one leaf). Contemporary Italian deerskin over wooden boards, vellum pastedowns (lacking clasps, faded remains of tooled title and armorial design on rear board). Provenance: Latin manuscript note at end.
