Two albums of photographs of British Army and official life, and various Indian views, including the Golden Temple at Amritsar India, some by Combridge of Bombay, one album dated 1905-10; the other late 19th/early 20th Centurygelatin silver prints, laid down on card album pages, many with identifying inscriptions, red and green morocco gilt, one cover missing (album A) album A, the largest 210 x 290 mm., the smallest 40 x 30 mm.; album B, the largest 150 x 200 mm., the smallest 80 x 102 mm.; albums 80 x 390 mm.(2)FootnotesA. apparently compiled by and recording the life, on and off duty, of an officer in the Royal Artillery, 1905-10; Lucknow, 1909; Agra 1907: Viceroy's camp and parade at Agra, 1907; Musical ride of the 15th Hussars; the Lieutenant-Governor's garden party; various scenes and horses at Barrackpoor and by the River Hooghly; camp at Dolpur and elsewhere in 1904; a group photograph dated Barrackpoor, 10th March 1907, featuring the Viceroy (Lord Minto), Lord Kitchener ('of Khartoum'), Maharajah Scindia of Gwalior, the Duke and Duchess of Connaught and other officers and ladies; Rawalpindi, April 1905-June 1907; various photographs of a driving tour, featuring a puncture near Indore and crossing the River Tapti; the Royal Artillery Polo Team at Lucknow, 1907-08; fox-hunting, 1909-10 (unclear whether in India or England), 158 photographs in total laid down on 23 album pages.
