Two Dutch silver spoons The first with maker's mark and date letter indistinct, Schoonhoven, probably 17th Century; the second struck with a housemark and 'R.D.', possibly area of Zwolle, Zutphen, Deventer, probably 17th Century The first with stepped finial, the bowl engraved to the reverse M.D. ; the second with plain canted handle terminating in a figure of a soldier holding a rifle and a shield engraved HB between crossed implements, the bowl engraved on the reverse M:N:V:D:J: , marked on bowls 19.4 and 19.5 cm. long 80 gr.
